It should be obvious why, right? Those people are awful! Killing any living thing just cuz it inconveniences you.... People around here really have no respect for nature. And no one else even seems to care!

Not even some of the other trainers.... [He scoffs bitterly. Many trainers had been here already, adults even, and none of them even thought it was a problem. He doesn't understand it at all.] So I.... decided that maybe people would pay attention to what was really going on here, if I made a big scene about it...

I am not certain that much attention was paid, however. [...] Perhaps they prefer not to consider the morality of the Beastmasters Guild because they can make money off of it.

But, you're totally right! Most of the adult trainers don't even care that innocent monsters are getting hurt! Even that stupid bug loser takes jobs from those jerks! Well, he's a huge jerk, so I guess it's not a surprise, but I wonder how his Pokémon feel about it...

Indeed. I have heard that you bested the leader of Viridian City's gym. [This is the other thing he wanted to talk to Blue about. Would it entertain him to hear about Giovanni being beaten and shamed out of his own gym? Well...yes. Very much.]

Perhaps a more direct approach would be effective. Something that would disable their ability to work, rather than simply be an inconvenience to them. [He's in for this, ftr. Let's do crimes.]

[Blue huffs indignantly, but then it occurs to him- oh, right- there are some strange things with people coming from different points in time, right? Guzma knew him when he was older, somehow, and for Archie, Red had just become Champion...]
